Combining two schools' teams DUE Wed., Oct. 1, 2008
Some students feel that we should combine SSSD's soccer team with the team at PSD. Some of the opinions are that if the team is larger, it would be more challenging and the team would be stronger. What is your opinion of this? Do you feel we keep only our players or invite PSD to join our team? Explain why you support or oppose this idea.

I am very support with it because it will become stronger team with PSD to againist other deaf team as RSD, WPSD, WVSD, etc.... I think that is more challenge to verus the teams. I want SSSD to intive PSD team to be part of our team. PSD and SSSD will be championship for Soccer. I have a faith in PSD team. But important is what? Social with friends afrter the games. If PSD with SSSD as partnership in soccer and that goal is TEAMWORK together. Also, our team did good TEAMWORK but weak at defense and offenese. NO OFFENSE. Sorry! I want a strongest team as PSD. If they are in our team then we will go to star to be stronest and strongest team. Thank You to PSD for be our partnershipo in soccer team. If PSD make a mistake on our soccer team. We have to teach them our skills or what coach teach us then PSD will fair with us, they will us same thing what their coach teach them. That not mean they hate and we hate them. We have to forgive them if they make a mistake. WANT TO BE PARNTERSHIP CHAMPIONSHIP? CHAMPIONSHIP TOO?
We want PSD’s team to join SSSD’s team mix for basketball.
Problem Solve: PSD’s players have to practice in PSD’s gym. And, SSSD’s players have to practice in SSSD’s gym. If they have to against other team then SSSD/PSD’s players discuss secret to play basketball during warm-up and ride in the bus.
List reason: SSSD’s players aren’t enough numbers. Players join basketball to learn how to play then start varsity game and stress, function, confuse, and lose. They will quit the team because they feel not ready to play varsity game while not sit to watch the varsity game. If PSD/SSSD’s players play to start varsity game and some new players could sit to watch the varsity game to learn than starts playing. PSD/SSSD’s players will be supporting together each other, learn their talents, and share.
Fact: SSSD’s few new players did quit the team soccer, volleyball, and basketball because of function, stress, confuse, and lose. Last year, SSSD’s girls basketball players were patient to play, they feel like to quit but keep it going. Boys’ basketball players were good to play basketball but now, few boys will be playing in the team because other few boys were grad and over age. Also, few girls were playing last year then now, they will not join to back the basketball team because they don’t have encourage and support.
Yeah! I support! I did mix with PSD 5 years ago. I think. I like play with PSD because more fun and experience. I love it. If SSSD student oppose then you'll play very few games. You know what I mean. I want PSD can mix with our school SSSD. It will be lots play oppose other. Also more experience and update skill!!
I was think -->if<-- our school may end then we need support care about our school. I want our school show all world how proud we are. I want everyone know about our school. I don't want everyone ask what is SSSD. Come! Scranton States School for the Deaf. You know what I mean.
I won't let PSD team join my basketball varisty team. Sorry, it is my opionion. my team works hard for long time to play on floor. I want give them floor. So I won't let PSD disturb that. SORRY.
YES I AM REALLY WANT THAT PSD AND SSSD WILL BE SAME TEAM IN ONE SOCCER/BASKETBALL TEAM! So If it will happen it then our team will be very strong! And an undefeated! Like MKSD and MSD! PSD and SSSD must be a good faith and teamwork! if SSSD and PSD are with then Bears will not name forever. It will name "PAWS" Because Bears and Panthers have same kinds of four hand. Like happen in 1934 of NFL= Pittsburgh Steelers+ Philadelphia Eagles= Steagles. You know why because when both of city players but some players were killing during World War I. It was not enought players to play for Steelers and Eagles. So they decide to play together in one town and called "Steagles" But Steagles have bad season record because I think they're sad and not feeling like to be Steagles forever! GO SSSD BUT FINE GO PSD LOL! see ya HAHAHAHAH!!!
I don't know if I am allowing to join this blog and leave comments, and I am not playing basketball but I cant help it to shut my mouth.
I don't want to other deaf school combining with our school to play sports.
BECAUSE, we creating our plays, and other deaf school creating their plays and we will have hard time to change our plays to combine one plays.
And, we are in different school, and think about, PSD is far from Scranton, so, we will not really practice that together everydays. Our school is our school, we play our sports, our pride, our spirit, our team work. We don't combining them. =^)

I am support with curly because I want to PSD involved our SSSD team. PSD's team can play with my team but, only PSD and SSSD mix team for game that's all. We can interact for game and have fun with PSD.
I never involved PSD's team before because I want to curious if we can do it for our new team mix. We will happy when PSD will be include our team.
I am support with Curly! I m really actually argee, PSD should join our school for only sports.. Because PSD and SSSD really actually coopistive... I know that, PSD is actually far from our school Of course.. By the way, when PSD have practice for basketball in PSD's GYM and SSSD have practice for baskebtall in our school.. Almost as if PSD/SSSD have game then Include together (PSD/SSSD) against different state.. There sound like Changelle and teamwork as I am sure...
i am agree with Curly! i want mix with PSD because i want PSD include ours team. I really want have fun new friends and learn what their tradition.
I like see PSD Kids want to with SSSD then we will be championship!
